Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actor who has appeared in numerous television series. She is also a star in the field of film. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily Irene VanCamp. Emily began to become interested in acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie in the film studio. After realizing her passion for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials before being included in the Canadian children's television show Are You Afraid of the Dark? In one scene, she appeared without speaking any words. The WB program Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. Even though the show was cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his TV show Everwood. Emily is also a dancer as well as a photographer. She was listed as one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim listed her at 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
